My name is Maiya Symone, the creator behind Pieces by Papaya. I am a college graduate with a degree in Business Administration and minor in Information Technology, but love to create both traditional and digital art in my free time.
Pieces by Papaya was born out of my childhood nickname "Maiya Papaya" and my love for all things creative while growing up. After deciding to take my work more seriously, Pieces by Papaya was my way of creating a platform out of my passion.
In 2018, I officially launched to Instagram, challenging myself to put myself out there. Starting with portrait commissions and digital art, I am continually developing ways to improve in my free time. I hope this space inspires you!
